Motivation, Positive Thinking and Krill Oil
Ian McKenzie writes the blog Ian’s Messy Desk. He has a great article called - 8 mental steps to self-motivation. I agree with him that you are only in control of two things, your actions (words) and your attitude.
A.Selvaraj CIT of Mumbai posts a slide show on positive thought here.
I really agree that the body is what it is fed and the mind is what it is fed. He has 23 great slides that could take 2-3 minutes to view or 2-3 hours depending how much you contemplate.
Ever heard of Krill Oil? How about CRP or C-reactive Protein? Well C-reactive protein is a normal component of your blood in small amounts. When it is elevated it is a major risk factor in cardiovascular disease. Krill are a deep ocean inhabitant that are so deep they only eat plankton and are mostly free of most ocean contaminants for that reason. They are rich in two of the three omega 3 fatty acids - EPA and DHA. You can read about a Canadian study that showed how krill oil helped lower CRP here. I was talking to some friends and told them about this. We thought that krill oil might be expensive, but also thought a 10 year supply was probably still cheaper than open-heart surgery or a funeral. What do you think? Ya gonna try it? I am.
P.S. it turns out that 60 500mg soft gels cost $18 from the Vitamin Shoppe.
