RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. It is a way to deliver content from one website to a place it is aggregated. If you have a “front page” with information on it much like iGoogle or Yahoo then you are using rss. The rss “feed” from this blog could be received to your home page by clicking on the rss buttons on my home page. One is blue and has diagonal stripes and appears in the upper right hand corner. The other is the same size is orange-colored with stripes and is in the lower far right-hand column.

If you have a separate reader like Google Reader, Bloglines, News Gator etc… you have the option of sending your rss subscription there.

What if you don’t have a fancy frontpage and don’t know what an aggregator is and don’t want to know? NO PROBLEM! Sign up to have it delivered every 3-7 days to your email. You would get an email from Feedblitz with the new articles embedded. Just click on the article to read it, save it for later, delete it or cancel it with the click of a mouse.
