Ticks are coming, be Prepared

Tick season will begin next month. I have removed several from children this winter after they played in wooded areas on days that reached above 50 degrees F. You should not allow your self or your family to be bitten without some preparation. In this video I try to help you be better prepared to avoid tick bites.

Ticks are nasty, nasty. Thanks for telling us about the tick remover tool. I wish I had that when my granddaughter had a tick on her head. I guess I was lucky with that one–it was engorged, but I didn’t see any mouth parts left in her skin. But, it took me forever to get it off. Better to keep them from getting on in the first place. Thank you for all the tips about doing that.
